Indy LeJeune Sampson Obituary (1978

Indy LeJeune Sampson was a devoted wife, mother, sister an aunt. Indy passed away on Saturday, May 18th at the age of 45 in Atlanta, Ga after a courageous battle with Cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was born to the late Shirley Ann Jones and Eric Lee LeJeune on September 13, 1978. She was a graduate of Tioga High School and pursued a career as a pharmacy tech that led to her working for Magnolia Pharmacy in Alexandria, La for most of her career. Indy spent her time enjoying her hobby of crafting. She could create the most beautiful pieces of art in the form of crochet, knit and tumblers. She could always be found sitting working on a piece or planning the next project with her fur baby "Blizzard" at her side. Indy was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Eric Joseph Sampson and their beautiful children Ebony LeJeune, Eriq LeJeune of Ellenwood, Ga; Elijah Woody of San Antonio, TX; Elliot LeJeune of Overgaard, AZ. Her bonus daughter, CeTericca LeJeune (niece) of Ellenwood, Ga; Brother Jethel Jones of Atlanta, Ga; Sisters Chana Jones of Pineville, La, Stephanie Butler (Rex) of Anchorage, Ak, Erica LeJeune Bonton (Mark) of Baton Rouge, La, Bridget Lacour (Joseph) of Alexandria, La and Bernita Woody of San Antonio, Tx; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service, remembering our dear departed, will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. James Hall, 714 Winn St, Alexandria, Louisiana at 10 AM.
