Kendrick Jermaine Thomas Obituary (1976 - 2023)

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 A Reflection of Life Kendrick Jermaine Thomas who was born on August 10, 1976 to Debra Thomas and Billy Ray Harris departed this life on February 2, 2023 at his Alexandria home. Kendrick was baptized at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Rapides Parish Schools and last attended Peabody high School. After High School Kendrick went into the workforce working numerous jobs. Kendrick had a great love for cooking and pursued that love for cooking by attending a Culinary Arts school in New Orleans, Louisiana until his health would no longer allow. Kendrick is preceded in death by his father Billy R. Harris; two sisters Shemorya Thomas and Adriel Thomas; and his stepfather Donald Ray Barrett. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Debra G. Thomas Barrett of Alexandria, LA; his sister Torcara Thomas of Alexandria, LA, his step-siblings Brandi Gibson and Delvin Gibson (Antonnia) all of Alexandria, LA; a special friend of many years Mahogany Dorty; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
