Superintendent Robert Price, Jr. was called from labor to reward on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. A service celebrating his life and legacy will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Zion Hill Church Family, 312 Hunter Street, Pineville, LA 71360 with Bishop Alphonso Denson, Sr., Jurisdictional Prelate of the Louisiana East First Jurisdiction officiating. Public Viewing and Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until the start of service which will begin promptly at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Cemetery immediately following the service with military honors. Superintendent Robert Price, Jr., born in Hot Wells, Louisiana on July 15, 1933 to the late Eld. Robert Price Sr. and Missionary Ethel Mae Price, the first of eleven children. Supt. Price became an instrument of God's word in 1955 and continued to serve and love God's people throughout his life. As a man of holiness, he was dedicated to the Church of God In Christ, where he ministered in several capacities to include the founding pastor of Woodside Church of God In Christ and the sitting Superintendent of District #6 of Louisiana East First Jurisdiction. For sixty-three years, he was married to the late Missionary Delores Jean Price and in this union they were blessed with five children: Willie Delores King, Robert Lee Price (Jennifer), Ronald Price (Wanda), Doris Aught (Robert), Marvin Price (Evelyn) and eighteen grandchildren.
