Alex "Sonny" Baker, Jr. 83, of Lecompte, Louisiana passed on Saturday, July 30. 2022 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. A service celebrating his life and legacy will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at St. John Baptist Church, 131 Frankie Smith Road,, Lecompte, LA 71346. Public viewing and visitation will begin at 2:00pm and continue until the start of service at 3:00pm. Mr. Baker will be laid to rest in the church cemetery immediately following the service.
