Jeremiah "Bo Bo" Williams, Jr. Obituary (1949

Rev./Sgt. Jeremiah "Bo Bo" Williams,Jr. 71,of Springfield,MO...entered into eternal rest on Saturday,February 20,2021 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Pineville,Louisiana on August 3,1949. He's the son of the late Rev. Jeremiah Williams,Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Lean Sherman Williams. He was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Peabody High School. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force. He later worked and retired from the United States Postal Service,Federal Express,Prime Inc,and the Transportation service of Springfield,MO. Jeremiah loved his motorcycles,basketball and his family. He loved to to talk tell stories. He loved the state of Louisiana and loved to travel. He was a hard worker,people's person and never met a stranger in his life. He served the Lord and became a Deacon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Springfield,MO and later received his license to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the same church. Jeremiah was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Mae Williams,paternal grandparents David Williams and Josephine Slumber Williams and Maternal grandparents Lovan Sherman and Ada Goodman Sherman. Jeremiah is survived by his children (3) Sons Rev. Cedric L. Williams, (Emerald),of Alexandria,La Jeremiah Hayes,of Dallas,Texas and Jeremiah Parlette of Springfield,MO. (3) Daughters:Louquencilla Quen Aaron(John)of Alexandria, La. Gwendolyn Michelle Williams of Detroit,MI,and Quinta Williams of Springfield,MO. (4) Brothers: James Williams(Alice) of Gasden,AL., David Williams of El Paso,TX, Lonnie Williams(Paula)of Springfield, MO. and Lovance Williams of Alexandria,La. (4) Sisters: Virginia Ann Veal of Los Angeles,CA., Josephine Thomas (Herman)of Compton,CA, Jerline Willoams of Roger, TX, and Doretha Godfrey (Pastor Chad)of Alexandria, La.
