John David Harley , Sr. Obituary (1937

David Harley, Sr. was born August 25, 1937 to the late Arnetha Harley Mc Call. He was raised by Brown and Zilla Harley as their son. John joined in holy matrimony to Mercides Mc Ginnis on October 21, 1958. To this union, two sons were born-John D. Harley, Jr. and Gregory Harley. John enlisted into the United States Air Force at an early age and thoroughly enjoyed his time. He then decided to try another branch and enlisted into the United States Navy. John retired out of the Navy after twenty years total service time. John was preceded in death by his mother, Arnetha Harley Mc Call, an Uncle and Aunt Brown and Zilla Harley, two brothers-- Harrison Vinson Mc Call, Reginald Mc Call, and a grandson, Gregory Burnstine. John is survived by two sisters-Allen Jean Love and Elizabeth Hasty-Heath, two sons-John D. Harley, Jr. (Michelle) and Gregory Harley, six grandchildren-Karlenthia Simon, Favia Simon, Felicia Simon, Orpha Simon, Lee Harley, Dontreal Hampton, and thirteen great grandchildren.
