Keyland Ke'Shun King Obituary (1998 - 2024)

Keyland Ke'Shun King was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on November 25, 1998. At an early age, Keyland accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at The Pentecostals of Alexandria on April 29, 2002 under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Mangun. Keyland enjoyed hunting, fishing, the great outdoors, and a good cookout. "Keylow" as most of his family called him was very family oriented and took pride in his role as a father to his two beautiful baby girls and also a father figure to his younger cousins. During Keyland's young adult life, he was a very hard worker. He worked for the railroads for many years and enjoyed the experience. He transitioned over to new employment after years with the railroad wanting to spend more time with his family. During his employment with Reddy Ice, where he was currently employed, he formed many bonds. Keyland believed that "A friend made was a friend for a lifetime". He enjoyed Creating memories with his friends and spending many days doing what a group of us do. You rarely caught Keyland out and about without seeing Nijel. Tre, Quan, Tuki, Cornilus, and Trey. A bond that will last a lifetime. Keyland passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Preceding him in death is one brother DeUntray White, paternal grandfather Ronald Rayfield, maternal grandparents Lula Herron and I.C. Herron, one aunt Laura King, uncles John Herron and Cornilus Herron, great uncles Lawrence Bryant and Alfred Vinson. Keyland leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Andrea Herron and father Leroy Herron, Sr., his special person and love of his life Cindy Aught, two daughters Ke'hlani King and Ke'nyra King, two brothers Leroy Herron Jr. and Cartavious King, four sisters Renotta Plesant, Jessica Plesant, Trenesha NBell, and Danesha Bell; paternal grandmother Diane King, a close aunt Nichola Wilson (Johnny Wilson); two close great aunts Brigid Bryant and Henrietta Vinson, a host of other loving aunts, uncles, special cousins, Kenyatta King, Dreanna King, Courtland King, Christopher King, Jamar Mullins and a host of other loving cousins and relatives.
