Rev. Arthur LeRoy Armstead, Sr., Age 73, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the VA Medical Center of Dallas, Texas. A Service of Honor will be held for him on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Second Evergreen Baptist Church, 2314 Wise Street, Alexandria, LA 71301. Public Viewing and Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the start of service at 11:00 am. Rev. Armstead will be laid to rest in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville Louisiana immediately following the service with Military Honors.
